Third Form begin trip to First World War battlefields in Northern France

The Third Form get ready to take off for their exploration of some of the main First World War battle sites of Northern France.
The first group leave from Schanschieffs at 0540 on Sunday, the second group at 0540 on Tuesday.

The weather will be cold - students have been warned to be prepared!
Especially essential:
  • Boots/wellingtons with sufficient room to wear two pairs of thick socks … and a plastic bag to put the boots in when on the coach
  • Layered clothing – a base-layer plus rugby-style jersey plus a sweater, Fleece/Padded coat plus waterproof.
  • A hat that should cover your ears.
  • Gloves

Ugg-boots, Gilets, Trainers … are NOT adequate!
